Deluxe Detect Name, Product Launch

You're launching a new product — as part of a strategic alliance with another company. How do you capture the attention of two sales forces, both already busy selling an array of successful products? Deluxe (in partnership with Primary Payment Systems, Inc.) turned to Larsen to name the new product, create key messages, establish a visual identity, and design an innovative direct mail promotion. Larsen named the product Deluxe DetectSM and created a fun, but highly informative promotion that included a magnifying glass — for "detecting the value" hidden in the purposely tiny type contained in the piece. The eye-catching design also incorporated large bold messages and short-fold pages.
