Making a message work across media
How do you communicate a focused corporate message to diverse internal and external audiences? U.S. Bancorp asked Larsen to take the theme we created — "Positive Results" — and effectively convey it in print and online versions of the 2006 annual report, our ninth for this client. In the print annual, Larsen gave each business unit a visually dynamic spread that highlighted progress. Important events were called out with the corresponding dates over the image. The online version rotates the major images from the print annual at the top of the homepage, with text that fades as the images change. Users can navigate to read the success stories of each of the business units by clicking on "Positive Results."
