AOL Life Made Easy Magazine, CD-ROM
Reaching members where they live
A household name like AOL needs no introduction. But to get AOL members to open its frequent mailings is quite another matter. That's why AOL hired Larsen in partnership with Carlson Marketing Group to create a small-format magazine and CD-ROM to accompany its upgraded program. Rich in useful content and filled with celebrities, the lifestyle magazine and CD —published under the Life Made Easy title —featured topics sought by subscribers, including online security, homework help, budgeting tips, and healthy recipes. Engaging photographs made the promotion inviting to browse. And intuitive navigation and sound design encouraged members to explore AOL's broad offerings. The initial mailing reached over one million member households.
