Exotic bloom. Enticing cuisine. With a great name already in place, the Red Lotus restaurant in California hired Larsen to create a striking brand identity.
Highlights
- After brainstorming multiple concepts, Larsen designers came up the idea of using a cross section of a lotus root as a stamp
- The resulting mark is simple, bold, and memorable
- The lettering in the Red Lotus wordmark reflects the ovoid shapes in the lotus root and gives the identity an intriguing, authentic presence
- In addition to the identity, Larsen produced a wide variety of promotional materials for the restaurant, including gift cards, presentation envelopes, and a menu format
