Gain without strain

How do you launch a product to an analytical audience accustomed to seeing diagrams, charts, and stats? Take a completely different, more human approach. MTS Systems Corporation turned to Larsen to create an innovative launch for MTS Insight™ —its new electro-mechanical testing solution. Larsen explored the demands and desires of potential customers. And then photographed contorted faces, parodying the products' actual functions: stress, strain, stretch. Headlines drew from insider language, shoring up the theme: "Leave the Stress to MTS." To support the product launch, Larsen created ads, HTML e-mails, direct mail, and sales materials —all of which succeeded in bringing MTS valuable visibility.
