Larsen Broadens Talent Pool

Larsen, the largest and longest-established strategic communications design firm in Minnesota, has added four new professionals in Minneapolis and three in California, filling important roles in design, interactive development, account service, and marketing.
"Branding, interactive, and signage assignments have continued to be requested of the Minneapolis office, while traditional print media has reached a plateau," says Tim Larsen, president. "We are hiring to expand our interactive team, and are enlarging our business development efforts in this region through new sales and account personnel."
In Minneapolis, Jim Madson, president of AIGA Minnesota, joins Larsen as Director of Business Development. Arnold Andres Porras joins as Interactive Designer, Jason Brierley joins as Account Executive, and Nick Richter joins as Interactive Developer.
"In California, Larsen's reputation has grown based on our knowledge of how to market semiconductor tools," says Larsen. "We are additionally gaining critical ability in the solar business, and have invested in Pacific Rim connections through trade conferences, exploratory research, and bilingual staff."
In California, Mike Harding joins as Account Executive, and Wei Tien Pang and Akiko Ito join as contract designers.
Arnold Andres Porras speaks fluent Spanish, both Mike Harding and Wei Tien Pang speak fluent Mandarin Chinese, and Akiko Ito speaks fluent Japanese. Larsen is delighted to bring the additional expertise of these professionals to clients.
