Larsen Hires Four New Designers

Minneapolis | February 11, 2005

Larsen, the largest and longest established strategic communications design firm in Minnesota, has recently added four full-time designers to its staff. The move brings the total number of professional designers at Larsen to 24.

Aaron Cooper is an interactive designer with eight years of experience. His work was recently featured at AIGA Exhibit A: 2004 Interactive Showcase. Cooper received his bachelor of arts degree from Concordia University. Most recently he was employed as a Web Specialist for Hammel, Green & Abrahamson, Inc. and he designed the company's website.

David Molanphy comes to Larsen with more than six years of design experience. His areas of expertise include branding, website design and programming, package design and trade show graphics. Molanphy received his bachelor of fine arts degree in visual communications from Brigham Young University-Idaho.

Bud Snead begins his professional career at Larsen after recently completing post-graduate studies in graphic design at The Portfolio Center in Atlanta. While pursuing his education, Snead worked on a freelance basis for numerous clients. He earned his bachelor of science degree in visual arts from James Madison University in Virginia.

After completing a six-month internship at Larsen, Nick Zdon was hired as a full-time designer. Zdon has a bachelor of fine arts degree in communication design from the College of Visual Arts in St. Paul, MN. While attending school, he designed a number of promotional materials for the college, including invitations, posters and direct mail pieces for events.

Larsen is known nationally for its award-winning work for clients in the financial, technology, medical technology, retail, and food industries. Clients include Microsoft, the new Minneapolis Public Library, Applied Materials, Regis Corporation, Piper Jaffray, Deluxe, 3M, and Medtronic. Larsen has a staff of 50 and offices in Minneapolis and the San Francisco Bay Area.
