Senior Interactive Designer (MN)

The client-facing Senior Interactive Designer works closely with interactive developers, producers, and other Larsen creative and account staff to design a variety of interactive solutions that address client needs and objectives. The top candidate is passionate about this medium and comfortable making presentations to win new client work.

A standout design portfolio with solid design sensibilities in interactive media, software proficiency, flexibility, a commitment to quality, and self-motivation are required of this position. Business communication and leadership skills are essential.

The ideal Senior Interactive Designer will have:

• Excellent typographic and visual design skills utilized in online environments
• Strong, targeted concepts and well-executed solutions
• Knowledge and basic understanding of web technologies: HTML, CSS, and Flash; ActionScript a plus
• Ability to work on multiple projects for multiple clients at any time
• Friendly demeanor and collaborative style necessary for team/client interaction
• Awards or recognition for work in shows or design publications
• Five or more years of experience creating interactive solutions

Preferred additional experience:

• Advanced practice in the design of high-traffic websites, digital presentations, integrated campaigns, and mobile devices
• Video and motion graphics savvy a bonus
• Confidence to run with a project on your own and/or direct others
• Bachelor of Fine Arts or equivalent
