Pro Bono for the Community

Here's a short list of Larsen's pro bono work:

  • Poetry In Motion® — a national literacy program that brings poetry to over 250,000 riders of Minneapolis Metro Transit. Working in partnership with the Poetry Society of America in both 2003 and 2005, Larsen designed numerous visually compelling poem posters. Poetry in Motion received a Quality of Life award from the Minneapolis Chamber of Commerce.

  • Greater Minneapolis Chamber of Commerce Keystone program — recognizing companies that donate two to five percent of pre-tax earnings to the community. As a committed five percent Keystone member, Larsen created marketing materials to support Minnesota's business leadership in philanthropy.

  • Itasca Project — a coalition of business and political leaders advocating for a coordinated economic development strategy for the Twin Cities. Larsen created the visual identity and the Itasca Project Web site, helping give this innovative coalition a strong presence.
